Hurricane Beryl

I tracked Beryl from its humble beginnings as in Invest way out in the Eastern Atlantic. It was coming in hot like a Cabo Verde Storm. It was early for a Cabo Verde system, yet here it was. There was nothing to stop it, no wind shear, no dry air, and plenty of moisture with steamy Sea Surface Temperatures (SST’s), and the Bermuda High was firmly in place so the storm could easily track West and stay South of the wind shear and dry air that was to the North. The Bermuda High kept Beryl down and away from any normal hurricane nemesis’s like dry air and high wind shear. It was logical to me. More to come…
